This product is an extremely versatile sandy, clay based material available in various size ranges. The many applications are listed below:
-40mm Alternative High Quality “Road Base” Substitute
This “road base” is produced from the sandy clay resource and has been supplied in volume over many years to the Roads and Maritime Service (RMS), local councils and developers for road projects. The RMS was considering writing a new standard for this product due to its superior performance on roads despite not being a conventional road base. It is known to set “as hard as a bull’s forehead” because of its special binding ability. It has proven to be a long lasting “road base” which forms a very solid base under bitumen. This results in lower maintenance costs and funds are saved in road maintenance and road replacement.
-20mm Alternative High Quality “Sub Base”
This “sub base” is produced from the same sandy clay resource and again has proven its longevity in maintaining a very solid, binding base. It has been supplied to local councils, developers and property owners. Its unusual binding qualities make it an in-demand product for residential and light traffic roadways and country roads; foundations for footpaths and bike paths; driveway construction for domestic and farm applications; base for paving and parking areas.

A range of medium to large-sized natural stones that bring an element of rugged beauty to any landscape design. These rocks are hand-selected for their unique shapes and textures, making each piece a distinct addition to gardens, parks, and outdoor areas. The larger sizes make them particularly effective for creating focal points in gardens, such as rockeries or large water features. In addition to their aesthetic appeal, these rocks can be used functionally for erosion control, to create natural retaining walls, and to enhance the structural integrity of slopes and embankments. They are angular and a majority of them resemble irregular shaped large bricks.
They have high durability in outdoor environmental conditions.
Larger rocks can be used in rock walls and features such as entrance pillars. These are complemented by our smaller rock range.

This is ideal for brick and block laying, builders or landscapers. Its clay content and plasticity provide greater stickiness and binding ability – enabling faster brick laying and when mixed with cement, making it more workable. Benefits: High workability, and consistent mortar colour.
Both the yellow product or white product can be also used for rendering walls, bedding under pool liners, or mixed with cement for a gold or a white finish if mixed with white cement.
Available in white and yellow in -5mm
This gives the right compaction to deliver an even surface for paver placement. Benefits: Compacts well. Ideal as a base layer beneath pavers, stones, and bricks, providing stability and reducing movement.
Available in -5mm and -20mm
The product’s clay and silts retain moisture and provide a hard wearing, stable base for aerated turf. Benefits: Retains moisture. Use in lawns, golf greens, bowls greens.
